My name is Kimberley and I am excited to be joining the Music with Mummy team! I was a teacher for 26 years and fortunate enough to work in international schools in Switzerland, Austria, Malaysia and Qatar but I returned to the UK in 2019 to be nearer my family. Although a Yorkshire lass at heart, I am enjoying living in Devon with my husband Victor and my 5 rescue cats. I absolutely love music and played several instruments in my younger years; I still play the piano (I have one in my garage) and I belong to a musical theatre choir in Exeter.
Working with young children to develop their musicality, movement and rhythm is the perfect role for me, combining my love of education and music, whilst also getting the chance to meet new people, both big and small.

About My Classes

In our classes we sing, enjoy musical movement and dance, use small age-appropriate percussion instruments and fun sensory props to enhance your baby’s/child’s learning. Classes are small, friendly and everyone is welcome.

Jolly Babies 0-1

The start of our musical journey. In our 30 minute sessions, we wave and clap, sing and dance, wiggle and giggle! Simple percussion becomes a favourite, as do the bouncing songs, bubbles and dances. Our small classes offer a wonderful opportunity for baby bonding and making new friends whilst having fun.

Music with Mummy 1-3

Music with Mummy is a structured programme of weekly classes for pre-school children aged three and under. Its main aim is to teach basic aspects of music to young children, while having fun. Each half term the children are introduced to a different learning concept through a new theme in the songs, games and activities. In our 30-minute classes we sing, enjoy musical movement and dance.
