My name is Susan Partridge and I have had the enormous privilege of working with the Music with Mummy programme since 1997! My days are filled with introducing our wonderful songs and musical activities to many, many children and their families. COVID-19 Has disrupted the face2face element of my classes somewhat but there is a swift transition to online classes whenever lockdown occurs.

I am delighted to be able to run my classes in the usual way BUT online and in safe, private Facebook Groups! If you are interested in joining any of my classes then please take a look at the class timetable listed below and alos my Facebook page – this will give you a tiny glimpse of what happens during our music sessions.

All classes offer fun-filled, age-relevant musical activities! I am also a Regional Coordinator for Music with Mummy and am responsible for training and supporting franchisees in Wiltshire, Dorset, Bath and Somerset. About My Classes

Jolly Babies (from birth to 18 months) The start of our musical journey. It’s astonishing how much fun we can have in half an hour! We will wave and clap, sing and dance, wiggle and giggle! Simple percussion becomes a favourite, as does the bouncing songs …. and bubbles. These sessions offer a wonderful opportunity for baby bonding and making new friends whilst having FUN!

Music with Mummy DADDY, GRANNY, GRANDAD OR ANY OTHER ADULT CARER (from 18 months – 3 years) The fun continues as the children progress into this next age group. Each term, there will be a new themes such as Colours, Transport, Spring, Look at me….the list goes on 😊 Musical objectives, such as pitch and tempo are introduced, through percussion activities and our lively songs and games. Three Four Time (3 – 5 years) And there’s still more! When the children are ready, normally around the age of three years, they can attend class without Mum or Dad. We sing, dance and play percussion and ALWAYS have enormous fun.

Our themes include Peter and the Wolf, Sleeping Beauty, Carnival of the Animals …..and many more. We explore musical concepts such as ‘lento’, ‘presto’, ‘piano’, ‘forte’. Watch your child grow in confidence week by week, until they are ready to go to school.
